What is BIM

BIM stands for Building Information Modeling (BIM). Based on a digital library of objects, linked with technical information, this technology helps designing accurate virtual models of a building.

BIM’s key benefits helped countless firms in diverse industries to operate more efficiently and productively, to keep a better control on cost and produce higher-quality work.

Fully aware that BIM is a major breakthrough to improve construction and maintenance processes Saint-Gobain PAM, built its own BIM library for PAM cast iron waste water and rainwater drainage systems (under Revit®). The first step is that the library is built for SMU S range (and EPAMS). Although the objects are referred with the SMU product codes, they can also be used for modelling PAM GLOBAL S range until the dedicated library is built as well.

Always willing to bring customers a better service, SAINT-GOBAIN PAM provides these digital data free of charge for consultants, planners and other players in charge of waste water and rainwater drainage systems. We hope this will help you in your job.
